NEW HERO: FENRIR - The Unteamed Beast
Fenrir was born deep within the ancient forests of Riftlands, where the dimensional rifts left a trail of wild energy and corruption. Raised by a pack of ancestral wolves, he is a fusion of man and beast, shaped by the chaotic magic of the rifts. His connection to nature is so profound that he can feel the pulse of the forest, hearing its whispers and following its trails.
From a young age, Fenrir was trained to be the protector of the forests, hunting those who threaten the natural balance. However, his loyalty was tested when the rifts began corrupting the forest creatures, turning them into aggressive monsters. Now, he walks between two worlds: that of a forest guardian and a rift hunter, using his skills to protect what remains of his homeland.
Fenrir is feared by his enemies and respected by his allies. His presence on the battlefield is like a storm: silent but devastating. He does not hunt for sport but out of necessity, and every move he makes is calculated to ensure the survival of the forest and his companions.
The new hero pack comes with:

NEW ROLE: HUNTER
The Hunter Role emerged as a response to the threats plaguing the forests of Riftlands. As rift corruption spread, once-peaceful creatures turned into dangerous monsters, and the forests became deadly labyrinths. Hunters are warriors specialized in surviving and dominating these hostile environments, using the forest to their advantage.
The first Hunters were trackers and hunters who lived on the edges of the forests, learning to read nature’s signs and move like shadows among the trees. Over time, they developed unique techniques to mark territories, ambush enemies, and disappear without a trace.
Being a Hunter is not just a skill but a way of life. They are the eyes and ears of the forests, always alert to any sign of danger. Their presence is both a protection and a threat, depending on which side you’re on. To allies, they are silent guardians; to enemies, they are relentless predators.
Connection Between Fenrir and the Hunter Role: Fenrir is the perfect embodiment of the Hunter Role. His life story and natural abilities make him the ultimate hunter, capable of dominating the forests and protecting his companions. He doesn’t just use the forest as a battlefield but as an extension of himself, moving with a grace and ferocity that only a true Hunter could achieve.

SOLO MODE
In Riftlands Solo Mode, you take on the challenge of surviving in the chaotic, war-torn lands while competing against an AI-driven rival faction.
Turn Structure: Each round, you play as usual—choosing your action dices, then, you draw dices out of a bag for the AI opponent to takes its turn, following a streamlined action lines according to your roll.

First Monster Miniature: BLOOD COLOSSUS & Monster Difficulty Level cards
With the release of our first STL monster miniature, we’re also introducing a brand-new system to enhance gameplay: Monster Difficulty Level Cards!
Each monster will now have three unique difficulty level cards, each featuring different stats, abilities, and rewards. When setting up the game, players will randomly or strategically select one card per monster in the jungle, determining its strength and behavior for that session.
This new system adds significant replayability, as no two encounters will feel the same. Whether you’re looking for a balanced challenge or an intense showdown, these difficulty levels will keep every game fresh, dynamic, and engaging for all players!

New skill card for every hero and REACTIONS
With the introduction of the 5th Skill Card, players will now have an extra layer of strategic decision-making before the game even begins. Before starting, you must carefully choose which skill cards to equip and which ones to leave behind, tailoring your hero’s abilities to match your preferred playstyle or the challenges ahead.
This expanded customization system significantly increases game variability, ensuring that each session feels fresh and dynamic.
Additionally, we’re introducing REACTION skills, allowing heroes to respond instantly to enemy attacks. Whether it’s blocking incoming damage, counterattacking, or protecting an ally, these new skills add a whole new dimension to combat, making battles more tactical and immersive than ever before! ⚔️🔥

Global Cooldown boards and New Condition tokens
To enhance gameplay management and strategy, we’ve introduced two new Global Cooldown Boards. These boards provide a clearer way to track cooldowns for both monster actions and hero skill tokens, ensuring a smoother experience and better control over when abilities become available again. With this addition, players can strategically plan their next moves while keeping the battlefield dynamic and engaging.
But that’s not all! With the introduction of new monsters difficulty cards, hero skill cards, and powerful abilities, we’ve also added a few new CONDITIONS to the game:
🟢 POISON – MAX STACK 4– Start of turn: Take DMG equal to the Poison level, then reduce Poison by 1. Continues until Poison is removed, the hero is healed, or the hero dies.
🌀 CONFUSION – Start round: an enemy chooses the die for your affected hero. Discard after.
⛓️ IMMOBILIZE – MAX STACK: 1 Cannot move. Spend 1 Stamina on your turn to break free and discard the token.
🤾♀️KNOCK DOWN Place your hero miniature on its side. Start turn: You lose your movement to stand them up.
These new conditions add even deeper tactical layers to combat, creating exciting interactions between heroes, monsters, and abilities.
